سياسة الخصوصية

إضافة «ترجم» (Tarjim) تترجم النص اللي تحدده في صفحات الويب. هذي الصفحة توضح وش البيانات اللي تتعامل معها الإضافة وكيف.

البيانات اللي تُعالَج

• النص اللي تحدده فقط، وفقط لما تحدده بنفسك أو تطلب ترجمته من قائمة كليك يمين أو الاختصار. الإضافة ما تقرأ باقي محتوى الصفحة ولا تحفظه.
• إعداداتك: اللغة الثانية، ومحرّك الترجمة، والمظهر، وطريقة الظهور. هذي تُحفظ في تخزين المتصفح (وتتزامن بين أجهزتك إذا كانت مزامنة المتصفح مفعّلة).

أين تتم الترجمة

• على الجهاز: في Chrome 138 وأحدث، تتم الترجمة داخل المتصفح عبر Translator API المدمج، والنص ما يطلع من جهازك.
• أونلاين: إذا الترجمة على الجهاز غير متاحة (مثل Firefox وOpera)، أو اخترت وضع «أونلاين فقط»، يُرسل النص المحدد فقط إلى خدمة Google Translate (translate.googleapis.com) عشان يتترجم، ويرجع الناتج لك. يخضع هذا الطلب لسياسة خصوصية Google. تقدر تمنع هذا تمامًا باختيار «على الجهاز فقط» من إعدادات الإضافة.

ما لا تفعله الإضافة

• ما تجمع بيانات شخصية، ولا تتطلب حساب أو تسجيل.
• ما تحتفظ بسجل للنصوص المترجمة، وما ترسلها لنا أو لأي طرف ثالث غير خدمة الترجمة المذكورة.
• ما تستخدم أي تحليلات أو تتبّع أو إعلانات، وما تبيع أو تشارك أي بيانات.

Tarjim is a browser extension that translates text you select on web pages. This page explains what data it handles and how.

Data processed

• Only the text you select, and only when you select it yourself or ask for a translation via the context menu or keyboard shortcut. The extension does not read or store the rest of the page.
• Your settings (second language, engine, theme, trigger), saved in the browser’s extension storage and synced across your devices if browser sync is on.

Where translation happens

• On-device: on Chrome 138+, translation runs inside the browser via the built-in Translator API; the text never leaves your device.
• Online: when on-device translation is unavailable (e.g. Firefox, Opera) or you choose “Online only”, only the selected text is sent to Google Translate (translate.googleapis.com) to be translated, subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. You can prevent this entirely by choosing “On-device only” in the extension settings.

What the extension does not do

• It does not collect personal information or require an account.
• It keeps no history of translated text and sends it to no one other than the translation service above.
• It uses no analytics, tracking or ads, and does not sell or share any data.
